Devi at the Greentopia booth

We had a successful weekend at Greentopia.  John handed out all 750 petitions to the FDA.  I could see him start to drag by about the 700th time he ran out into the road after someone.  I know after about 5 hours Sunday I was starting to have no idea what I’d already said to the person currently in front of me – (did I tell you this or just the 200 people before you?).  Hopefully I made some sense.  I came home, had dinner, and slept for 12 hours.

There was a good steady stream of people stopping by.  I’d say about a third did not know what GMOs were, even among the self-selected group “people who care enough to attend a fair about the environment.”  We had many good conversations and directed a lot of people to ways to learn more, including our About GMOs page, our Facebook page and the Genetic Roulette movie playing for free online until Friday.
