PlantPure Nation Documentary Showing

plantpurenationPlantPure Nation is a film about food justice; about bringing the benefits of a plant-based diet into the mainstream and to the attention of our elected officials.

Even more exciting is that this film screening represents the kickoff here in Rochester of the local initiative that the film depicts happening in Kentucky and elsewhere: bringing a healthy diet to low-income people in a 10-Day Jumpstart Program that provides all food for 10 days and has a doctor test their health before and after.

  • When: Sunday, September 27
  • Time: Two showings, 1-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
  • Where: Rochester Academy of Medicine, 1441 East Ave #100, Rochester, NY 14610
  • Tickets: Adults $7, Kids $3:

Profits go to the PlantPure Nation foundation, which, among other things, uses its Jumpstart program to introduce 10-days of plant-based meals to underserved and low-income community members.

Visit plantpurenation.org for tickets or purchase at door.
